Why doesn't Hashem reward and punish automatically? Why is He personally involved in rewarding and punishing? Why is Rosh HaShanah before Yom Kippur? Wouldn't our judgement turn out better if we were forgiven for our sins before the day of judgement? Why is there no such thing as reward for mitzvos in this world?
